Information for Coaches

​

If you are interested in becoming a Blue Edge Figure Skating Club of CT coach, email Mary Lee, Chair, Coach Committee, at marybrettlee@gmail.com. If you have never been a LTSUSA Instructor or USFS Coach before, begin the process by familiarizing yourself with coach compliance information HERE.

 

“Approved Coaches” are those who teach private or group lessons regularly and have been approved by the Blue Edge FSC of CT Board of Directors to do so. These coaches are listed on our website. Policies for Approved Coaches may be found HERE.

 

“Guest Coaches” are those who register with us to teach private lessons from time to time. Policies for Guest Coaches may be found HERE.

 

​Please read these policies carefully. All coaches must be in full compliance with USFS and/or LTSUSA requirements as outlined at https://www.usfigureskating.org/support/coach.

 

In addition, those wishing to teach private lessons must have their insurance carrier add both Blue Edge FSC of CT and Quinnipiac University as additional insureds. Addresses and phones to list are:

Finally, Coaches (both Approved and Guest) who are not members of Blue Edge FSC of CT must register with us on EntryEeze under the Coach Registration-Non-Member category. This process collects biographical and emergency information and requires signing waivers and the coach agreement; there is a $5 administrative fee.

Register on EntryEeeze - Non-Member Coaches

1. If you do not already have an EntryEeze account, create one by linking to EntryEeze and choosing New Members. Provide your email address. Watch for Welcome email from us via EntryEeze requesting that you validate your email address and set up your password. Follow the instructions, and be sure to remember your password! If you do not receive the email right away, check your spam or junk folder.​​​

 

2. Once you have an account, log in using the Existing Members/Access my Account button. Complete the requested personal information.

 

3. Click on the Apply/Renew tab in the top menu. Choose the Coach Registration-Non-Mbrs category, and complete the requested information, agreement and waivers. Sign using your finger or a stylus if you are on a tablet or mobile phone, or use your mouse.

4. Go to your Cart and pay the $5 Administrative Fee using a credit card.
